Community Redevelopment Agency Director
City of Flagler Beach
SUMMARY: Responsible for administration of the City’s Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), including preparation and submission of State reports; coordination with the CRA Executive Board; collaboration with CRA property owners; and cooperation with other City staff and appropriate boards and committees. Additional responsibilities include economic development, public engagement, special events, and grant writing/review.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major or extensive coursework in Public or Business Administration, Urban Planning, or Economic Development; Master’s degree in a similar field and/or Florida Redevelopment Association certification desired; five years experience in local government, economic development, or redevelopment; possession of valid State of Florida driver’s license and acceptable driving record (determined at sole discretion of City).
Full Salary Range for position $69,186.73 to $114,158.10 with an anticipated starting range of $70,000 to $75,000 DOQ. EOE, DFWP Position open until filled.
