Riviera Beach has launched the “Clean and Safe Initiative” to tackle long-standing issues in neighborhoods.
This effort, approved by city leaders last month, aims to combat problems like illegal activities, homelessness, and city beautification within the Riviera Beach Community Redevelopment Agency District.
One target of this initiative is a house on West 15th Street, which has been a persistent concern for both the community and law enforcement.
Sergeant Roosevelt Lee is leading the charge to transform this neighborhood and make it a safer, more appealing place to live.
The transformation involves painting, landscaping, and yard cleanup of problematic homes like the one on West 15th Street. Sergeant Lee hopes that these improvements will not only beautify the area but also deter criminal activities, ultimately creating a safer environment.
