SEBRING — The Sebring Community Redevelopment Agency has a deal for local builders and it involves free land.
The CRA and the City of Sebring are seeking proposals from licensed contractors and developers for the residential development of five city-owned vacant lots located in the CRA district. The successful applicant will be given the parcel of property to develop and then sell on the open market.
“This initiative is the result of a joint CRA and City Council Housing Committee assembled in June 2014 to address one of the CRA’s seven core goals of increasing quality housing in the Downtown Sebring CRA District,” said Robin Hinote, CRA executive director. “We understand that having good housing options in downtown is key to its redevelopment success.”
