The City of Clearwater is seeking visionary partners—museums, planetariums, and performing arts institutions—to help transform the Clearwater Main Library into a premier cultural destination for Tampa Bay residents and visitors.
Located in the heart of Downtown Clearwater, this five-story, 92,332-square-foot venue offers stunning waterfront views and sits at the gateway to Coachman Park, a newly completed $84 million, 25-acre entertainment and recreation hub featuring an amphitheater, playground, and scenic green spaces. The Harborview Hotel, a Hilton Tapestry property, is also under development just south of the library, bringing new energy and foot traffic to our walkable downtown, and is located just minutes away from world-famous Clearwater Beach.
We invite proposals for at least 10,000 square feet of the Main Library to be reimagined for cultural use—whether through immersive exhibits, performing arts spaces, engaging amenities, or unique dining experiences. The city is offering ground lease opportunities to selected cultural partners, with a shared vision of creating an inspiring and dynamic destination.
We welcome creative and impactful ideas!
