RocaPoint Partners, the firm tasked with developing a new downtown, will be here to get input from members of the community. The two scheduled sessions are Feb. 7, 6 p.m. at the Cultural Center, 50 W. Atlantic Blvd., and Feb. 8, 6 p.m. at the Emma Lou Olson Civic Center, 1801 NE 6 St.
The vision for the new downtown, which includes canals, mixed-income residential development and 800,000 square feet of office space, will be located at Atlantic Boulevard and Dixie Highway. RocaPoint is still in the preliminary design phase and has yet to enter into a final agreement with the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) and the city.
