Alisa Burleson
FRA Board of Directors
CRA Administrator, CRA-City of Fort Walton Beach
Q: What is your best business advice for a new FRA member?
Alisa: “Gather as much wisdom as you can from the experts in their field. Don’t expect perfection but if you seek it, you will get as close as possible.”
Q: If you had a superpower, what would it be and why?
Alisa: “To bring out the highest and best potential in others.”
Q: We are going out for dinner/entertainment in your CRA District. Where are we going and why?
Alisa: “We would start our evening with dinner at The Bavarian’s Wirtshaus – voted 6th in “Best German Restaurants” in the USA. Our dining experience will be complemented by German-style entertainment. Afterward, we will join the locals at their favorite and oldest downtown bar, Docie’s Dock where the best live music in the area is topped off with the coldest beer in town, a glass of wine, or a savory cocktail. If you are a “night owl” then we will head over to the Downtown Music Hall to soak in the eclectic musical atmosphere while indulging in the best pizza in town as a late-night snack.”
Q: What do you hope to be remembered for?
Alisa: “My creative vision and optimistic enthusiasm.”
Q: What is the most exciting part of being in redevelopment?
Alisa: “Being a part of something much bigger than myself and knowing that my efforts and hard work will outlast my service.”
