As a result, the city is experiencing a wave of new investment in the area, with a whopping $1 billion worth of development underway, according to the Hallandale Beach Community Redevelopment Agency. The latest example of the city’s explosion of luxury real estate development is Slate Hallandale Beach, a 26-story high-rise designed by Kobi Karp Architecture and developed PPG Development, led by founder and CEO Ari Pearl.
