FRA Webinar: 2020 CRA LOCAL ANNUAL REPORTS
Thursday, March 19th
2:00 PM – 3:00 PM EDST
Although the local annual report due March 31 has been the law for many years for CRAs in Florida, the contents of the report have been changed. It is a SHORT list of contents, but EVERY CRA must make sure that a local annual report is produced. It does not have to be elaborate, but all the items on the list should be included. You have heard about the reporting template tool, designed to be a worksheet for internal use, or re-designed as a communication tool for the public. But let’s go through a checklist of the exact requirements in the law now, after CS/HB 9, 2019, so you can make sure you have it all. Current requirements are found in a new section of law, s. 163.371. For example, let’s agree at the start: You are not required to copy the state on this report. The city DOES NOT need to be copied on your report if you are a COUNTY CRA. So who do you need to send it to? Join us for the brief answers regarding the 2020 Local CRA Annual Report requirements.
