BRADENTON, FL (WWSB) – Attractions like the Bradenton Riverwalk and the South Florida Museum attract visitors from all over the world. Officials in Bradenton are focusing on those areas downtown to make sure the area becomes more pedestrian friendly.
“It’s growing because Bradenton is the friendly city,” said Cork Miller, owner of Cork’s Cigar Bar.
Miller and his wife opened Cork’s on Old Main Street more than 10 years ago. They saw less foot traffic and had less competition then.
“When we came downtown there were only three other establishments like ours,” said Miller. “Now I believe there are seven, including restaurants and there’s more to come.”
