One person has been released from a local hospital following a recent traffic accident.
As of Tuesday, Timothy Brian Gravitt, 37, of 4785 Barkley Circle, Apt. 37, Fort Myers, had been discharged from Lee Memorial Hospital, where he was taken on April 13 after the crash, officials said. A second person, Sabrina Lee Gravitt, 59, of 416 N.W. Fourth St., remains hospitalized in critical condition.
The Cape Coral police reported that Donald W. Tinder, 58, of 416 N.W. Fourth St., was driving a Chevrolet Impala east on Northeast Pine Island Road in the inside lane. In the 1700 block, he attempted to make a left turn into the parking lot of the Lowe’s and Steak ‘n Shake at about 3 p.m.
According to witnesses, westbound traffic on Pine Island had come to a complete stop.
