WINTER HAVEN — Downtown Winter Haven is on fire.
Not literally. But that’s the “best way” Joe Dunham can describe the “resurgence of nightlife.”
“It’s huge from what it was a decade ago,” he said. “We used to only have Jessie’s (Lounge) — it was the go-to place and it still is — but now we have so many options that make downtown a destination.”
Two bars opened in December and Dunham plans to open Grove Roots Brewery in the summer.
