BUNNELL — A house on Moody Boulevard that stirred passionate debate about the city’s past, present and future is gone.
The property, which includes a bungalow-style house built in 1930 and adjacent land, was the subject of debate a couple of years ago when developers wanted to build a Dollar General store on the site.
While the 85-year old structure was described as “a well-prepared example of the craftsman bungalow-style of architecture” by proponents of saving the house when a previous demolition permit was issued in 2013, it was not listed on any historic registry.
