OLDSMAR – The Oldsmar City Council listened to more information regarding a contract with the University of South Florida School of Architecture and Community Design to update the Town Center Dec. 1.
Taryn Sabai, a USF research associate professor and head of the Florida Center for Community Design and Research, provided an overview. The council were given plans for the Community Redevelopment Agency as well as the State Street area.
“We’re looking at creating an urban design master plan for these areas related to public realm, resiliency, issues of storm water, redevelopment, the repurposing of vacant properties, connectivity and other development opportunities throughout those areas,” Sabai said.
