Saying he has gone “above and beyond” meeting town requirements, Harbourside developer Nick Mastroianni blasted Jupiter officials for suspending the up to $350,000 annual payments to his $150 million waterfront entertainment center.
“It’s sad to see that the public will lose the great benefit that Mayor (Karen) Golonka envisioned in this project,” Mastroianni said in an e-mail to The Palm Beach Post.
Harbourside Place was approved by the town as a designated entertainment development. Part of being an entertainment development is providing music from the amphitheater. The music has been the source of most of the complaints from the town. Mastroianni has been fined $16,500 for too-loud music.
