A company that manufactures special medical devices announced Thursday that it plans to locate its headquarters in downtown Kissimmee, where it eventually hopes to employ hundreds of people.
Infinity Medical Engineering will initially employ 10 people when it opens its 10,000-square-foot facility on Church Street within the coming months, CEO Michael McDaniel said.
Then, over the next three years, Infinity plans to double its work force to 20 workers earning an average wage of more than $55,000 annually, McDaniel said.
Within the next five years, Infinity plans to build a 60,000-square-foot center in Kissimmee as part of the company’s second phase of development. That new center would house hundreds of employees, company officials said.\
