Through an agreement with FHWA, the Community Transportation Association of America (CTAA) is providing free, short-term technical assistance to transportation planners serving rural or smaller urban areas.
This assistance is focused on helping planners with their identified issues of stakeholder involvement in planning processes, whether in reaching out to low-income and minority communities as part of compliance with federal environmental justice guidance, carrying out public involvement as part of the more routine work of smaller MPOs, helping states with strategies of local officials’ cooperation in statewide transportation planning, or simply helping build specific capacities in regional planning organizations in those states where these exist.
Applications are due by Friday, June 19, 2015. Click here to apply.
Please share this opportunity with anyone you think may be interested. For any questions, please contact Chris Zeilinger at the CTAA at zeilinger@ctaa.org.
