University of Central Florida trustees on Thursday provided a glimpse into which degree programs might move to downtown Orlando and how much money it would take to build and run the new campus.
The trustees approved a working plan after members from the Florida Board of Governors, whose support is key to winning state funding for the $200 million project, said they were concerned they didn’t have enough information about the plan last week.
The university’s leaders were asked to return Feb. 19 for the project to be vetted more. By the end of this week, the university also is expected to finish an economic-impact study on how the proposal could benefit the community.
