PANAMA CITY — The Downtown Improvement Board (DIB) selected a new director Wednesday, but the public won’t know the name of the new administrator until the vetting process is complete.
DIB Chairman Jim Hayden said the position has been offered and the top candidate has accepted the job. The new director will be announced at the DIB’s 4 p.m. meeting Tuesday. After the director is announced, the DIB will go forward with the Main Street Coordinator position.
“We will have a new director on Tuesday,” Hayden said.
Hayden has been serving as the director since Dutch Sanger resigned last August. Sanger attended the meeting Wednesday as an audience member and representing his new event management company.
