WEST PALM BEACH — Dunbar Village is on the cusp of a massive overhaul, the city’s housing authority says, with the $1 million first phase almost complete and $43 million for the next two phases almost secured.
Thirteen buildings, with 56 units, already have been torn down at the site of a 2007 gang rape, with another 17 buildings to go. The project’s first phase is almost finished, with nine new townhouse units on Tamarind Avenue a month away from taking in their first tenants.
