Shaping and implementing the vision for the City of Live Oak
Live Oak — In a workshop setting Nov. 14, Florida’s Citizens’ Institute on Rural Design (CIRD) was welcomed to Live Oak to help the city continue its quest to shape and implement the vision for the City of Live Oak that was begun in June during a Charrette. The Live Oak Community Redevelopment Agency and the University of Florida’s Suwannee County Extension Service helped bring this workshop to Live Oak, which was selected to receive technical assistance through a competitive national process.
A team of nationally recognized community development professionals spoke during the event and led the group in breakout sessions developed to hone in on projects identified during the June Charrettes.
