Feedback Needed on Florida Chamber’s Small Business Index Survey
On Friday, the Florida Chamber of Commerce concluded the 2012 Legislative Session where the Florida Legislature passed or supported 25 Florida Chamber-backed bills. Despite several distractions and election year politics, the legislature reduced the regulatory burden on Florida’s employers and lowered the cost of doing business without passing a single new tax, higher fee, new regulation or union-backed mandate.
In an effort to wrap-up the 2012 Legislative Session and prepare for a huge election season, we encourage you to take our 15 question Small Business Index Survey so that we can properly gauge the issues facing Florida’s small businesses.
Your answers to our surveys over the past year indicated that the tax and regulatory burdens were major obstacles facing your business. The Florida Chamber worked tirelessly over the past year with Governor Rick Scott and legislative leadership to reduce those burdens. Just last week, the legislature saved Florida’s employers $549 million over two years in unemployment compensation taxes and eliminated more than 270 rules and regulations!
In our effort to Secure Florida’s Future, it is critical that we know what issues are most important to you! Your personal information will not be shared.
