PulteGroup and the Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency recently broke ground on The Cottage District, a new community of workforce housing in the Heart of Boynton District near downtown.
The standalone community will feature 19 single-family homes for moderate-income households priced at $301,860 and 22 townhomes for low-income households priced at $234,780. Due to the high demand for affordable housing, only recipients of a workforce housing certificate from Palm Beach County will be entered into a lottery for a chance to purchase one of the homes. Sales are expected to start in October.
“Everyone deserves a safe, stable place to call home. The Cottage District project represents not just brick and mortar, but our commitment to opportunity and a brighter future for all residents,” Boynton Beach Mayor Rebecca Shelton said. “We look forward to celebrating 41 families who will soon call this home.”
