The Coral Springs Community Redevelopment Agency has tentatively agreed to provide up to $7.5 million in public infrastructure support for the first phase of City Village, a mixed-use development planned for the former City Hall site.
In a vote on Monday, CRA board members authorized moving forward with drafting a legal agreement that would fund improvements such as a linear park, widened sidewalks, upgraded lighting, and reconfigured traffic lanes along the north side of Sample Road from University Drive to Coral Hills Drive, where the complex will be built in two stages.
The infrastructure and improvements — estimated to total more than $15 million — would also include culverting a canal to link the project’s parcels, improving streetscapes, and creating public parking, according to the plans presented to the agency.
