The signs are part of a Community Aesthetic Feature Agreement between the MCRA and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), which allows for their installation and maintenance in FDOT’s right-of-way. The specific locations include:
- North Sign – State Road 7, south of SR 834 (W. Sample Road)
- South Sign – State Road 7, north of SW 8th Court
- East Sign – State Road 814 (Atlantic Boulevard), east of Banks Road
- West Sign – State Road 814 (W. Atlantic Blvd.), east of NW 80th Terrace
The west sign is under Broward County jurisdiction and is being approved through a separate process with the County. The MCRA will fund the project, including the design, installation, and ongoing maintenance of the signs, while FDOT retains the rights to the land where the signs are placed
