BAY COUNTY, Fla. – Construction along Front Beach Road will continue, thanks to a little help from the Florida Department of Transportation.
The front beach road CRA started its work in 2002, completing several projects so far.
The project improves water, sewer, power systems and also adds things like public transit and sidewalks.
Currently, the third leg of the design is planned to be under construction in the next couple of months.
At Thursday’s PCB City Council meeting, the design for part four was approved.
Mario Gisbert, Panama City Beach City Manager said, “what we released is the design of the next section that will go from Lullwater to Hills road. So it will go all the way to the other side of Pier Park. It’s a great day where the CRA funds are coming in (are) sufficient and we can literally build one section after the next.”
