The new $3.4 million Coral Springs Museum of Art at the Cornerstone development remains on track for a late summer opening, with construction expected to be completed in August and a grand opening planned for late August or early September.
Museum officials are expected to provide an update on the project during a Board of Directors meeting this week.
Project leaders anticipate substantial completion by July 21 and final completion by Aug. 21.
The approximately 8,100-square-foot museum is part of the Cornerstone development at University Drive and Sample Road.
The project is being funded through approximately $2 million from the city’s capital budget, $1 million from the Community Redevelopment Agency’s capital fund, and about $500,000 in landlord and tenant allowances.
