The Greater Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce celebrated the grand opening of its new, centrally located headquarters in a new building along North Dixie Highway, drawing more than 100 local dignitaries, residents, and business people.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony at 100 NW 8th St., Unit 102, in the mixed-use Sonata Rental Apartments, brings with it larger 3,200 square foot offices, more resources for business development in the city, and a shift to a location more central to its mission serving businesses not just in Pompano but in Lighthouse Point and Margate.
The grand opening drew high-profile local and federal recognition:
-Theresa Brier, representing U.S. Rep. Jared Moskowitz, presented Janvier with a Congressional Record submission honoring the chamber’s decades of community service.
-Broward County Commissioner Lamar Fisher, whose own business has been a member of the chamber since 1982, presented a county proclamation designating June 17, 2026, as “Greater Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce Day.”
-Pompano Beach Mayor Rex Hardin credited a partnership with the city’s Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) for helping secure the new location, emphasizing the evolving relationship between local government and the private sector.
