The City of Haines City is seeking a CRA Manager to lead redevelopment initiatives and oversee implementation of community redevelopment plans within the City’s CRA districts.

This position plays a key role in advancing redevelopment projects, economic development strategies, property redevelopment efforts, and long-term community revitalization initiatives.

🔎 Job Summary

Under the direction of City Administration, the CRA Manager is responsible for managing redevelopment programs, coordinating projects and consultants, overseeing CRA operations, and supporting implementation of redevelopment strategies throughout the community.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate redevelopment projects with City departments, agencies, businesses, and property owners
• Manage project budgets, consultants, contracts, and redevelopment activities
• Conduct property research and assist with redevelopment acquisitions and negotiations
• Develop and track redevelopment incentives and investment strategies
• Prepare CRA annual reports and required statutory reporting
• Maintain and update CRA redevelopment plans
• Provide staff support to the CRA Board and other advisory boards
• Oversee marketing and promotion of redevelopment projects and programs
• Utilize social media and outreach strategies to support redevelopment initiatives
• Research, analyze, and present redevelopment and financial data to City leadership

🎓 Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, Marketing, or related field
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in community development, planning, public administration, or related field
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience required
• Master’s degree may substitute for up to two (2) years of experience
• Valid Florida driver’s license required

Preferred Certifications:
FRA Redevelopment Administrator (RA) or Redevelopment Professional (RP) certification preferred
