A new mixed-use development near Mizner Park is set to bring a 12-story hotel, retail, and dining space to downtown Boca Raton, replacing an aging shopping plaza on the site. The project will include 219 hotel rooms, a parking structure, and more than 30,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space, adding new activity and investment to one of the city’s most prominent areas. Developers have also indicated they will work with existing tenants to help relocate nearby as the project moves forward.
The Boca Raton CRA played a key role in advancing the project, approving a plan that aligns with the city’s long-term vision for a more vibrant and connected downtown. By supporting redevelopment in this area, the CRA is helping guide strategic growth that enhances the Mizner Park district while making better use of underutilized property. Projects like this reflect how the CRA helps balance new investment with thoughtful planning to keep downtown Boca Raton evolving.
