The City of Apopka Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) has completed its first home renovation project under the Residential Renovation Assistance Program, marking a major milestone in the city’s neighborhood revitalization efforts. The $24,073 project focused on replacing the home’s roof and windows—improvements that boost safety, energy efficiency, and curb appeal.
Launched on October 1, 2025, the RRAP offers eligible homeowners up to $30,000 for essential exterior repairs, representing a $900,000 investment in long-term community stability. Economic Development Director Antranette Forbes praised the program’s early impact, noting its role in strengthening neighborhoods and helping protect homes during storm season.
With additional projects underway, the CRA aims to continue supporting residents and improving housing quality throughout the redevelopment area.
