The City of Apopka Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is proud to announce the relaunch of the Residential Renovation Assistance Program (RRAP), a major initiative designed to strengthen neighborhoods, enhance curb appeal, and improve the quality of life for residents within the CRA district.
The program will provide $900,000 in funding to support exterior improvements for owner-occupied homes. Eligible homeowners may receive up to $30,000 per property to address critical renovation needs and exterior enhancements, such as re-roofing, new windows and doors, driveway repairs, porch upgrades, exterior painting, landscaping, and more.
“The Residential Renovation Assistance Program is an investment not only in individual homes but in the vitality of our neighborhoods,” said Antranette Forbes, Economic Development Director. “Investments in new roofs and energy-efficient windows are especially valuable for hurricane season. These improvements not only help protect families and homes, but they can also provide long-term savings by potentially reducing homeowners’ insurance costs.”
