The Fort Myers Community Redevelopment Agency approved several Commercial Property Improvement Matching Grants for downtown and Cleveland Avenue redevelopment areas.
Grants include $22,095 for Sunshine State Law at 2058 Cottage St. for exterior repairs and upgrades; $22,335 for Fountain of Grace International Corp. at 1702/1704 Fowler St. for stucco replacement; and $3,075 for 7091 Pinnacle LLC at 1788 Fowler St. for patching and painting.
Cleveland Avenue grants include $53,268 for 4418 Cleveland Ave. for signage and window work and $694 for Dru’s West Indian Roti Shop at 2968 Cleveland Ave. for sign replacement. The matching grant program covers up to 75% of eligible project costs, with awards up to $50,000.
