Downtown Clearwater is about to get a bold, creative makeover. On Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Clearwater Arts Alliance invites the community to experience the official unveiling of the Celebrate Sculpture Series, a transformative initiative turning the Cleveland Street Corridor into a walkable public art gallery.
The centerpiece of this initiative is a trio of large-scale works, each offering its own distinct narrative and artistic brilliance:
- “Nurture” by Clayton Swartz (Pinellas Park, Fla.) – a colorful, dynamic piece exploring connection and growth, brimming with energy and positivity
- “Stainless Steed” by Donald Gialanella (St. Petersburg, Fla.) – a striking stainless-steel horse capturing movement, imagination and strength
- “SeaDance” by Robin Morgan (Sarasota, Fla.) – a fluid, nature-inspired work celebrating Clearwater’s coastal charm and rhythm
Together, these sculptures infuse Cleveland Street with vibrancy and reflection, reaffirming the city’s dedication to cultural placemaking and community engagement.
