The Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Advisory Board and regular Board met Monday in a joint session workshop to discuss the CRA’s budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
Main Street CRA was first discussed and that included Donaldson Park with its numerous projects such as the pickleball courts and splash pad. CRA Chairman Rick Hayes began by allocating funding from the splash pad toward the pickleball courts as they “were well over” for funding.
This newly allocated funding would be specified for eight “premier” tournament-quality pickleball courts with shading. Hayes said that the shading would “set us aside in the county.”
