The Fort Myers Community Redevelopment Agency is seeking possible changes to the power line system in the downtown area.
It would certainly be nicer to look at while walking through downtown Fort Myers, but it’s a major project and expensive.
The Community Redevelopment Agency is wondering how possible it would be. The agency says:
- Moving lines underground can help improve property values
- It could help encourage more development in the downtown district
- It would improve the overall livability of downtown
