Habitat for Humanity’s largest women’s build campaign in the country kicked off to a successful start in Lake Worth Beach this year; it will help construct two new homes and other community projects, according to the organization.
Hundreds of registered builders came together to raise a half-million-dollar, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County revealed. Its Women Build 2024 drive sold out and, the agency noted this was a record year for the project.
Lake Worth Beach’s Community Redevelopment Agency donated the land for this year’s Women’s Build, HFH of Greater Palm Beach County explained. Together, it added, the agencies have either built or financed over 45 homes in Lake Worth Beach.
