From the newly opened Four Seasons At The Surf Club to a range of local events, there’s a lot to discover in Miami’s uptown destination of Surfside.
Surfside, located just north of Miami Beach and south of Bal Harbour, has been experiencing record-breaking growth and redevelopment that has transformed this mile-wide area into a vibrant travel destination.
The latest addition to the upcoming stretch is the Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club, which opened in March this year. The hotel’s Mediterranean Revival building was originally a private members club, which opened in 1930 and played host to luminaries such as Noel Coward, Elizabeth Taylor, Frank Sinatra and Tennessee Williams. The original property has been discretely expanded by three new buildings designed by architect Richard Meier with interiors and public areas designed by Joseph Dirand.
