LAKE WORTH —
Hudson Holdings, a Delray Beach developer, last week submitted a conceptual site plan and rezoning application to the city for its $60 million renovation plans for the historic Gulfstream Hotel site in downtown Lake Worth.
The plans include demolishing — or moving — two existing residential structures on the property and replacing them with a five-story, 96-room hotel annex and a four-story, 320-space parking garage.
Plans for the Gulfstream, built in 1925 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, are to restore the hotel and transform the 106-room historic inn into a hotel with 86 rooms. A downstairs restaurant and champagne room will be included along with a rooftop sky bar.
