ArtPlace America has recently announced a new grant program, the Community Development Investments, designed to provide $3m in funding along with assistance to organizations interested in leveraging arts and cultural strategies to support ongoing and upcoming projects and plans in their communities of focus.
ArtPlace America (www.artplaceamerica.org) is a ten-year collaboration of major foundations, federal agencies, and banks that exists to position art and culture as a core sector of comprehensive community planning and development in order to help strengthen the social, physical, and economic fabric of communities.
I am including some basic language on this opportunity below in multiple formats. We would love for you to share this information with fellow organizations and networks. We also have three upcoming grant workshops and webinars that may be of interest to you or other folks who may be interested in applying (all information can also be found at www.artplaceamerica.org/cdi/grant-workshops).
Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have, or direct any organizations to reach out with questions to cdi@artplaceamerica.org
