Seminole, Florida — Seminole Mall developers are asking the city of Seminole to help convince county commissioners to approve millions in tax rebates from Pinellas County for the mall’s redevelopment.
TheTampa Bay Timesreports Primerica Group One gave the city an economic analysis that estimates the value of the redevelopment at $58.1 million. It also projects the city’s income from property taxes, franchise fees and related revenues to be about $8.7 million over 30 years. Pinellas County, the analysis says, will fare even better — about $17.4 million over 30 years.
