Description and Details:
This position manages and oversees division planning, projects, research, and personnel in the following areas:
Escambia County’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, the Escambia/Pensacola/Santa Rosa County HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program; the Escambia/Pensacola State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Affordable Housing Program, the HUD Emergency Shelter/Solutions Grant Program, the HUD Neighborhood Stabilization Program, CDBG Disaster Grants awarded to Escambia/Pensacola/Century through the Florida DCA/DEO, various hurricane recovery grants and special projects, routine interaction with the Florida Housing Finance Corporation Housing Tax Credit Program and other project activities as deemed of importance to the mission of Escambia County, the City of Pensacola or the Town of Century.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in area of specialty (Community Development, Housing and Grant Programs, Public Administration, Business Administration or related field and five years of managerial experience in area of specialty (Community Development, Housing and Grant Programs); or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
