Winter Park hopes to put a bow on West Fairbanks
Hoping to take advantage of newly constructed sewer lines that the city installed on Fairbanks Avenue, the Winter Park Economic Development Advisory Board is looking to build on that by putting together incentives that will encourage new business growth there.
The board is also considering the possibility that the city annex sections of Fairbanks that are now outside the city limits and part of unincorporated Orange County, with the incentive that businesses now on a septic system could take advantage of the city’s new sewer lines.
“We have something to offer,” said Marc Reicher, chairman of the advisory board.
The maturation of the West Fairbanks corridor is just one of the projects that the advisory board is considering as they work on a long-range plan for how to encourage more economic development in the city.
