Coral Springs seeks public input on future downtown
CORAL SPRINGS—
There will be special meetings this week to discuss what the city commission — and the public — envisions for creating a downtown near University Drive and Sample Road.
On Wednesday, city staff and members from the Urban Land Institute, a nonprofit land use group, will privately tour the city’s downtown area. But then, the panel wants to hear from the public at 4:30 p.m. at the Coral Springs Charter School Auditorium, 3205 N. University Drive.
At the city’s regularly scheduled workshop at 6 p.m. Wednesday, the city commissioners will give their panel of experts input on what they envision the downtown to become. That meeting will be on the second floor of Financial Plaza, 3300 N. University Drive.
