Local Community Redevelopment Projects Win State Awards
Twelve redevelopment projects, organizations and leaders throughout the state have been recognized by the Florida Redevelopment Association (FRA) for their outstanding achievements in improving local communities. The recipients were honored at a special awards banquet last night at the 2011 Annual Conference.
“The FRA annual awards program brings statewide recognition to our members and their successful revitalization efforts,” said Kurt Easton, FRA president. “I believe the progress we are making today will sustain new growth and redevelopment for Florida communities in the future.”
Each year, FRA honors redevelopment leaders throughout the state ofFloridafor exemplary redevelopment projects and programs. The 12 awards winners are:
