CRA Coordinator: Salary range- $38,019.07 – $60,826.27. The City of Lake Wales is seeking candidates for a CRA. This employees performs a variety of routine and complex administrative, technical and professional work in the preparation and implementation of the goals and objectives of the Community Redevelopment Agency.
Works under the general supervision of the Executive Director.
(A) Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in urban planning, business or public administration, economics, marketing, finance, or a related field, and
(B) Two (2) years related experience; or
(C) Any equivalent combination of education and experience, additional education substituting on a year for year basis for the required experience.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
(A) Considerable knowledge of business development; considerable knowledge of economic development; working knowledge of municipal zoning and infrastructure; working knowledge of planning programs and processes.
(B) Strong project management skills. Ability to problem, take initiative, set priorities, handle multiple projects, and exercise good judgment in a fast-paced, dynamic, deadline-driven environment in an organized and professional manner.
(C) Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with industrialists, architects, contractors, developers, owners, supervisors, employees, and the general public; Ability to establish effective working relationships.
