Do you want to share the great things you are doing? Learn what others are doing?
The Florida Redevelopment Association brings together the many people across the state who are actively involved in preserving and improving Florida’s urban centers. Our mission is to share best practices and success stories, and provide the technical assistance you need when you need it. Think of us next time you have a redevelopment question or challenge – we may be able to help!
Founded in 1974 to promote redevelopment and growth of downtowns, the original base was businesses and Downtown Development Authorities. The focus was later broadened to encompass Community Redevelopment Agencies and Main Street Programs. Today, the FRA is comprised of all types of stakeholders in what makes successful redevelopment happen in Florida: attorneys, elected officials, lenders, consultants, vendors, non-profits, developers and volunteers.
We invite you to join the FRA today – we have many different levels of membership to fit your budget (FRA Membership Brochure). Plus, if a business, organization, city, county or other entity is an FRA member, all the employees and officials associated with them receive membership services and discounts at all events.
